Hi everyone first time poster but long time lurker in the Simsig community!

Here are some of my photos of the signaling equipment contained in Westbury Panel and Yeovil Pen Mill. Whilst there are excellent websites out there with great photos of inside boxes (Danny Scroggins site springs to mind) there isn’t much out there of the actual behinds the scenes equipment powering it all!

Hope you find it interesting, especially when you play Westbury Sim next!

Will look forward to seeing those pics when my connection finally decides to download images from Flickr. At the moment images I try and obtain from that site don't appear but all other sites work fine. :S

Someone was asking about collars the other day; see the red caps on the control NX buttons here

Nothing to do with me- though I can't actually read any anyway.

I didn't think anyone would be able to make them out but I have blurred out the phone numbers on that photo just in case.

Cheers

Brings back memories. I've spent many hours under that box and upstairs drinking tea.

Now does No.4 still stick in the Off position on winter mornings or does that only happen when a certain signalman left it off all night?

You should have taken a photo inside the relay cabinet so that people can see the electric gubbins behind it.

Nothing like the fun of trying to maintain a Catagory 4 or 5 loc without breaking anything.
