i beleive its already been requested that the line to ollerton and high marnham be represented in the next possible release, even if only as an entrance/ exit point.

however whilst doing a bit of research it appears the line is still officially in use as a test track ( i knew this much) and is still connected to NR lines at thoresby (i didnt know this) and is still used for testing stock.

it may therefore be an idea to provide ollerton in modern mode aswell to allow stock/ test train transfers on and off the line. any thoughts?

Correct, it is a NR test track for the testing of on track plant and other specialist equiment, There are regular possession trains to/from Toton (usually running as 6H95), which are timed to Thoresby Colliery Jn, where the test track starts.

Ollerton closed many years ago as a coal loading point, only Thoresby & Welbeck remaining, and some odd bits from Clipstone in recent years.

God bless, Daniel Wilson

Welbeck has now closed.
