Hi

I'm running Bristol 1985 v3.21 as beginner so no failures (Still learning) - issue with train 6V04

With much tooing and frowing I managed to route this train into Bath RTS. When I routed it into the loop it overhung shunt signal 1405. Had to route to DM107 then finally reverse into the siding. I presume this is correct?

My problem arises as although the message appears telling me the train has arrived successfully at Bath RTS, the track circuit just before shunt 1406 fails to clear thus fouling the points and rendering the loop unusable. As a result I will not be able to route train 6B041 out when the time comes. The timetables reference to 6B041 has it departing North Somerset Junction, which is a bit weird in itself. Is this just it's first way point after exiting Bath RTS or am I missing something?

I have tried editing the timetable to designate far end and far end exact positioning but that hasn't worked to resolve this. I'd be grateful of any help to get around this.

Meep,

You need to reduce the length of 6V04 to 219m. In F2 train list, right click 6V04 and select "Extreme Measures" and Adjust Length to 219.

Barry M Many thanks for this.

I figured it would probably be to do with the length of the train rather than a problem with the track circuit. Had it been the latter I am sure there would have been a thread about this already. However it never hurts to ask! I did have a look both in the Wiki and on the web in general, but couldn't find anything concerning the length of Bath RTS. I presume the maximum length for this is 219m then?!

With regards 6B041 am I correct in assuming that the North Somerset junction reference is just the first way point after leaving Bath RTS?
