:woohoo: that will teach the Chinese to try the easy way and have there signalling systems controlled on the same frequency band that wifi works with

Key word here - "unlicensed", don't use a public frequency and then get upset that the public are using it!

The Disneyland Resort Line in Hong Kong is also controlled by an IEEE 802.11 standard (a SelTrac FAO system), but there haven't been this kind of incident before. I suspect it doesn't use 2.4GHz then. But... this is how (Mainland) Chinese do things. They seldom think of the consequences. All they care is money.
