hope you can help me  :angry: i have try ed to download both new time tables and all i get when i try and extract the files from wizip is this message cannot create access denied any one know how i can get the tts or help me i use windows 7 with chrome yours paul Log in to reply |

Have you tried opening the .zip folder and copy and pasting the files.

could be but not sure i get all the normal windows as with the other tts but these 2 just dont want to know ive even tryed to download a new free trial version of win zip but still have the same result Log in to reply |

Expanding a little on what Barry has said, putting "w7 zip access denied" into a search engine brought up lots of links. Picking on a fairly obvious link ("Access is denied - Windows 7 Help Forums" brought up this link which may help your problem.

I assume you are getting an error when attempting to extract the files into your C:\program files (x86)\SimSig\cowlairs, or similar? If so you need to add a Windows UAC exception to allow you to modify files within this directory. use 7zip to open said file. I have just downloaded that wtt and unzipped it.

SUCCES dont ask me how but i found that if i extract to desktop i get the unzipped file, then copy and paste to the program file but if i try and extract straight to the cowlairs folder as i do with all other tts then i run into trouble as above. funny that but thank you for all your advise yours paul Log in to reply |
