Was playing Brighton with bundled 2009-10-15 timetable... and I noticed that 1H65 and 1F17 joining to become a 410m-long train!
They are so long that when they join, 1F17 eats the track circuit at the junction!

by my reckoning the train after its join should be 246m

Hello,

Looking at a recent stock book, the 09:15 from Littlehampton (1H17 (1H65 in the provided 2009 sim)) should be a 4 car C377, with 1F17 being an 8 car.

The default timetable with the sim has 1H65 as a 12 car before the join, hence the very long train after joining. Maybe it was selected by mistake.

James

This problem may apply for more trains which joins at Haywards Heath. Just happened again for 1H67 and 1F19.

Spotted this just now. I suspect it was a data entry error in the original timetable.

Haywards Heath are specialists at working around 16 car formations :)

Similar issues found with platform working errors at Brighton.

All superceded by TBASC sim now, obviously.
