Just read the postings for the new platforms for Peterborough and once again we have the weekly request for a Sim update or the release of a new Sim. Now we all know that SimSig is a truly addictive thing and we all like it so much and can't get enough, but is there anyway to stop these continuous requests and the somewhat tiresome responses that come with it..........it has really become one big yawn.

In fairness, I think you're exaggerating the problem, if indeed it is a problem at all.

You can't stop people asking about new sims, or updates to existing sims, any more than you can stop others from replying.

I suppose the mods could delete the offending posts/threads. Or the admin could impose a blanket ban on these types of questions, enforceable by banishing the individuals concerned from the forums.

Whilst these measures might well discourage the practise, I think that this type of heavy-handed approach would be disproportionate to the matter and would be detrimental to the community.

The reality is that Simsig is a victim of its own success. We all love the sims and its only natural for us to want more.

But we need to understand peoples enthusiasm, not stifle it.

2013 has been a great year for new and refreshed sims, and I'm sure there will be more goodies to come in 2014.

And before this turns into a bloody sermon, I'd just like to wish everyone a happy new year, and to thank all the devs, testers and timetable writers for all their hard work.

:cheer:
