Running the supplied 2009 timetable, 0445 start, and I've pulled off for 6G58 to run early onto the Up Oxley Chord. Unfortunately the signalman at Oxley appears to have decided to keep it going, substantially delaying 5R01 off Oxley CS. Is it deliberately designed to operate on a 'first come, first served' basis? Seems likely to cause quite a few problems if so, not just with early runners but also with anything booked to stand on the chord. 5R01, at a stand at OY10 signal, has also phoned in to Wolverhampton rather than Oxley.
