Hello All,

I'm testing a WTT on King's Cross sim, with UID's. I got a issue with a particular train:

5Y50 (Kings Cross - Bounds Green T&R.S.M.D) -> Previous 1A50 (Leeds - Kings Cross) at KGX platform 4.

5Y50 departs at 00+42 to Bounds Green Depot (via Ferme Park CS). Arrive Ferme Park CS (South) 00+58H, then, departs 00+59 (North) to Wood Green (Alexandra Palace) K451 (Carriage Washer).

Because of the limitation of the sim, i needed to create 2 trains:

5Y50 (G35773) Kings Cross - Ferme Park CS.
5Y50 (G35773) Ferme Park CS - Bounds Green Depot.

I created 2 (5Y50) with same UID (Because Ferme Park CS South & North are Entrance and Exit locations). The UID of 5Y50 is G35773.

When i seed 1A50 at Platform 4, and add activity N: G35773, I don't get the right train, I got the one entering at Ferme Park CS (North), I need the one departing from King's Cross.

Anyone can help or experienced the same issue, or tried to simulate that?

Regards,
Thiago.

I haven't used the new rules yet but talking to a couple of mates who have I believe you need to use the following :-

N: $G35773

Hopefully someone will confirm or correct for me

Paul

You have to get a red before you can get any other colour

Correct, UIDs must be prefixed with a $ symbol when used in rules and activities.

If you guys want to take a look, and hopefully find a way for it to work, i'll be glad.

I'm attaching the WTT. (Only 1A50 and 5Y50)

I think the simulation's getting confused, because there are two identical trains for it to select for the next working- for some reason it's picking the one from Ferme Park and not the one from King's Cross.

If Ferme Park CS wasn't (Entrance & Exit) location, I could do a straight run, creating only 1 train, instead of 2. On the Real WTT it has only 1 5Y50.

I'll try to get around this problem creating 5Y50-A and 5Y50-B (on the ID) because UID don't work properly at the moment, hope Geoff or someone on the Development can fix it.

Thanks for the help,
Thiago.

You need to give each part of the train the same head code but different UID's.
So

5Y50 G35773A Kings Cross - Ferme Park CS.
5Y50 G35773B Ferme Park CS - Bounds Green Depot.

With 1A50 showing N: $G35773A

Surely that now defeats the whole purpose of the UID?

Problem Fixed on version 4.1.2 of the loader, using Rules with UID:

Here is the example for the others to use, if interested:

Tick (Seed Trains) box.

You can use Old or New Layout. If you want to use the Train Types, feel free, it was edited from 2010 TT.

Thiago.
