Although I first suggested this here, no one has commented on this idea so I've opened a separate thread for this as it is significantly different from the earlier one. Whenever I find myself needing to actually edit a train's timetable, 9 times out of 10 it involves editing a timing point, so I jump to the Location List, which requires an extra click; I hardly ever need to modify the train's description or characteristics. How do others feel about this suggestion? I think it would also help newcomers who might not be aware that Location List is a complete, editable version of Show Timetable. I also reiterate my earlier request to display the name of the next timing point in the Location List more prominently than at present, say Bold + Italic, or change to another monospaced font (preferably smaller!) in which boldface is more prominent. At the end of this thread it occurred to me than an alternative, maybe improved suggestion would be for the Edit Timetable command to open the Timetable Editor at Location List rather than General, since this is where I want to go most of the time.
