Hi all

Another possibly dumb question - I'm noting trains which are tabled to arrive at a location and then do something (like reverse) are not stopping as soon as they are clear behind the signal required for the move, and are instead continuing on for a little while and coming to a stand further into the block.

Examples are light engine moves from North Departure to the Loco Sidings, I've routed two of them via Wembley P5 and noted in the train list that they aren't stopping behind signal 392, but instead keep going and stop whenever they feel like it, in that block, then change ends automatically as they should.

This has also happened with trains that reverse on the UWR/DWR area around 829/931 sticks, and Wembley South Junction.

Also note this image:

6L49 reports 'Stopped at Willesden South West Sdgs' - but the way the diagram is drawn up leads me to believe that the south west sidings end at 626 or 744 signals. That train is dividing to leave 6L51 behind, which I missed on the timetable hence giving it more road than it should need, but I can't see any specific instructions on the timetable for it to stop where it has for the move.

There is probably a very good reason for all this, hence asking!

Cheers

As an aside, I'm getting 'subroute locked in opposite direction' when trying to route the light engine to join back on:

Both 621 - 743 route and 621 to the 743 arrow generate this. Is that by design?
