Update to Motherwell available for download, this includes an updated timetable and correctly labelled Splash screens. You should be able to install over the top of the existing sim, though you may then want to delete the old timetables and wrongly labelled splashes.

Sim update fixed one bug on TD stepping at Newton, couple of cosmetic changes and added the ability to route trains from MY321 to MY315 to MY313 and onward to REC1-3 which can be used for longer trains that might foul the main line using the conventional route. There maybe other things I've forgotten.

Timetable fixes the trains entering the wrong end of Coatbridge FLT and John's added some shunting at Mossend with the help of Henry (fruitnut).

Updater will install the new sim iteration but not the timetables or splashes.

Hope that's clear!

Peter

Is it ok to delete Motherwell all together and then re-install it to get the update or just up-date the old timetable. Being in mind i have paid for Motherwell if i re-install it the the licence still be valid. Thanks for your help. David

There should be no issue with existing licenses however you effect the update.

Peter,

I cannot locate the timetables. Where are they please?

Barry

Edit: I found them!

Peter,

I found that you need to download and reinstall Geoff's installation file. There is no need to run updater.

Peter - thanks for the update - nice now you can get 650m freightliners into Coatbridge FLT via Gartsherrie spur.

Any chance that the Wagon sidings at Motherwell TMD can be electrified, so that prototypical stabling of units can take place as well.

TIA

Noted; I'm informed this was only wired in late 2012.

The Wagon Repair sidings as said were only wired in the last few years to facilitate stabling for EMU's and DMU's from Scotrail. However , there were 2 sidings at the rear of the Depot that were wired in the late 90's for EWS Mail Trains from Sheildmuir. Mainly basic catenary comprising a basic double span and single wire. The 2 roads were electrified to allow Classes 86 and 90 to Propel/Haul trains in and out the sidings. As for the diagram on the sim , technically there would be access available for an electric train into the wagon sidings as , although could be wrong , there was a hand point giving access to the former Mail Sidings at the Depot. Hope that assists all concerned

Late 1997/early 1998 as the RM Terminal at Shieldmuir was first used operationally on 16 February 1998.

Just to say that the issue with MB288's missing R, and the odd display of overlaps from signals MY321/323/325 as ending halfway across on T2127, but showing across the whole TC after a train passes through (can't find a topic for this), are both still present.

MB288 is an individually numbered signal so has no R. The Phantom Overlaps are explained in the manual (Mossend Yard) as is the fact that you may get an odd display in certain circumstances due to them not being officially supported by Core Code.

Whilst it may not be numbered MB288, should there not be some form of panel indication to identify it as a repeater and not a controlled signal?
