It should be possible to buy sims as a gift easily using the shop system, if you ask me.

Ah, I learn this after I've had to get other members to change their passwords so I can log into their account and add the sim, and have them then change it back..... :doh

Basically I just re-assign the licenses to the intended recipient. I've only been asked a couple of times so I assumed it wasn't a common thing to do! I'll try to think of an easier way though.

How is this done, Geoff? I'd like to give the gift of Simsig to a mate loves the game but has to watch his spending.

I imagine you would purchase a licence in the shop in the normal way, then pm Geoff who would reassign that licence to your friends licence manager who could then allocate it to their machine, download the sim and play.
