Hi all,

In view of the impending engineering works between Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa, for which a 24/7 line closure will be in place between 2nd and 10th April, I am working on a new Bristol TT for Monday 4th April and so far have 103 trains written in.

What is the best thing to do, however, where pathing allowances apply to trains entering at Hullavington, as given here:

http://www.opentraintimes.com/schedule/V07387/2016-04-04

I am inclined to have the entry time at Hullavington as 1322Ÿ in order to take account of the 6½ minutes of allowances at Hullavington to avoid any early running and then the subsequent phone calls at Westerleigh Junction. The best thing to do, or is it better to leave as is? There are several trains like this.

Dave

I'd leave it as it is, and maybe add a TT note to explain/draw attention to the situation. After all, it's something the signallers in the real box would have to contend with. It also means that if the train enters the simulation late (imagining it was delayed in the Reading area, for example), it will make up time between Hullavington and Westerleigh, as it would in real life.
