I have just paid for this game but have down loaded system files BUT cannot any any further It says "You now need to allocate the Licenses to your computer, using the SimSig License Manager. To do this, open the License Manager, enter the same username and password you use for the Forum, highlight the License and click 'allocate'. The License is now allocated to your machine, and the simulation will run. The License can be unallocated at any time, should you wish to transfer it between computers. See the License Manager page for more details." I CANNOT FIND SimSig Licence Manager? It's not under downloads What am I doing wrong please?

There is no download for it as the system files you downloaded already includes the license manager.

Once you have installed the system files, you can either find the licesne Manager icon in the list of SimSig programs and run it from there or run the SimSig Loader and click on the "license manager" button.

It should be part of the System files, I've just downloaded and installed to a test folder and it's there along with the loader.exe. You say you downloaded the system files, I take it you then ran the download.

Since a couple of versions ago, the Loader has had a button on it saying License Manager. I can't remember if the system files download has been updated to include that feature. If it's not below the "Folder Options" and "Check for Updates" buttons then it's an older version. Click on "Check for updates", follow the prompts, and you'll get the latest. Finally, you should have a button in the Loader that allows you to access the License Manager more easily.

Nevertheless, as others have said, it is already on your machine. How you get to it depends on your operating system. If you have a Start Menu (not the Windows 10 one) then it should be in there. Oddly the Cortana in W10 doesn't find it; possibly that applies to W8 too. So the other option is to open up Explorer (yellow folder icon), click on This PC (on the left), double click on your C drive (in the main window), double click on Program Files x86, double click on SimSig, double click on SimSigLicense(.exe). This assumes it was installed in the default location and "This PC" might also be called "My Computer" if you're on XP (I think! My memory is a bit rusty).

Sorry if that sounds convoluted: just giving you several options.

Welcome to Simsig.

Would be nice to read some of your experiences at these PSB?

A bit after my time, but it wouldn't surprise me if we knew some of the same people. (I was never in the powerboxes, but I did a spell as Yard Supervisor at Willesden Brent and a few years before that I was a bobby, West London relief in 1979/80 among other locations).

And is your screen name meaningful? Where do you ring?
