Hi everyone

Currently involved in an online game and have got myself at signal failure on the Clay Cross panel at Dronfield in the direction of Sheffield. Currently I have 3 trains in a queue at Dronfield, they being 1E44/1F40/1S47.

I have recieved no phone calls from any of these trains, I assume as a result of the signal failure being in the control area of Sheffield PSB?

I suppose I have to wait until the signal gets repaired as per normal, even though its off my patch?

My apologies, I do not, it took approx 60 mins to clear itself.

From what I remember it was the signal before the platform that Dronfield that was causing problems (towards Sheffield).

I suspect it'll be one of these signals;

S27, S31, S33, S35, S37, S39, S41, S43, S45 or S47

which are all in the area beyond the points at Tapton Junction.

Correct me if I am wrong here but if you're the host ("Server"surely you could just use the Train List (F2) to authorise each train to SPAD the failed signal? If you're only a player ("Client"then use the Control Panel (Go to the multiplayer menu and click on 'Control Panel'to SPAD the trains ... although with either method you'll have to do it once for each train until the problem is fixed.

Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for.

Signals "off" patch shouldn't fail, therefore it it fairly important you try and remember which signal it was, or make a note in the future, as this suggests a problem I need to look at.
