More problems. In demo 24 attached, 2Y00 will not depart from Northampton even though it has the road. It was supposed to attach to 5Y00 at Northampton, but I had to kill 5Y00 hours ago as it was in platform 4 ahead of (and preventing the departure of) 2Y57 (I think it was). So in F2 I have told it to abandon the join. It should depart at 09:05 and it is now 09:07. In F2 it shows as "Stopped, exp 21.21." If I simply left-click on it the info box shows the correct 09:05 departure. If I right click on it and ask for popup ARS information it says "Waiting for joining train 5Y00". If I go to F2 and try to "abandon join" again it won't let me because "it is not waiting for a joining train. May I emphasise that I can see the work-around for this, i.e. abandon timetable. But that has obvious difficulties downstream. But that isn't quite the point: at present the whole code for this sim has numerous glitches, and I was hoping for some acknowledgement of that, rather than advice on how to work around the problems. In terms ARS, you are expecting far too much from it. ARS is a tool to assist signallers, it is not a replacement for the signaller, and he or she needs to know when to intervene. Also remember "The ARS status is what ARS *THINKS* the train is doing, not what it might actually *BE* doing. See the train list for train information.
