Hmm, is this an historic layout, or not quite the current one? I have an idea of a place that could match.

Fire away. Guesses are welcome on these threads.

That's part of the fun of guessing! I beleive it's the current layout.
Bizarre, people are quite happy to guess when they don't know but are being circumspect when they think they do know.

Bit like the Brexit referendum, then?

My guess was to be Doncaster, with the extract showing an older layout of the loops at Carlton on Trent, but was always tenuous as the station closed 1955, current layout has a double crossover the wrong side of the crossing.

I had the same problem but it had actually opened the image on the desktop behind the Safari screen. I found it when I closed Safari.

You might be out of luck, I have heard rumours that on arrival participants will need to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement and hand in their Mobile Phones.

After the above comment I looked at Real Time Data and thought I saw an STP for Kings Cross on Saturday for Gresley’s “Hush Hush”

You don't need to but the multiplay only happens if we have enough laptops that people bring to share. So if you can bring one and are prepared to potentially let others use it in a multiplay then fantastic, but it's not a requirement to do so. The only thing we do ask is that to participate in the multiplay game(s) itself, you need to share (you can't hog your own laptop in a public game). But do be sure to secure anything personal and backup anything necessary beforehand.

I've put in for a lieu day for Saturday. I won't know until Friday if I am off. If I am, I will be sleeper down and last train home.

So I may not be the only person arriving on the beds, though I'm on Thursday nights run of it.

I'll wave as you pass Preston Fylde Jn... from the warmth of the PSB haha, or I could walk onto the platform and say hello but I'll be kind and let you sleep lol. Safe trips.

Does the new simulation chain to Derby, by any chance?

It's neither of them as the track plan and signalling don't match

That was my thought, hence the Derby question. Given that the simulation can chain to two previously seen simulations, that does imply that Stoke-on-Trent is included in addition to the Stoke- North Stafford line- the additional chains being to either Stafford or the already-previewed Manchester South.

I'd happily say North Stoke myself.
Hopefully Stafford gets the update it's crying for!!
