I have seen that some people have had problems accessing Licence Manager but their queries do not seem to solve my problem. I have not used Licence Manager since I last installed a new paid for simulation which was some time ago. I have now purchased a new laptop and will be relocating the software to this computer in the near future. As a precursor I thought I would check out what is shown in Licence Manager before I start. If I enter my username and password into the relevant boxes and click Log In I receive the following message; HTTP Secure Socket is not supported. If I attempt to use Forgotten Username or Forgotten Password I am directed to a standard HTTP Error 404.0 Not Found page. Do I need to download or reinstall the loader files or will something else sort my problem? I am using a laptop running Windows 7. The replacement will be a Windows 10 laptop - is this going to cause further problems? Thank you for any assistance that can be given. Log in to reply |

I suspect the issue you have on the Windows 7 machine, is that TLS isn't turned on in your internet explorer options.

In which case I would guess that Anti-Virus / Firewall is blocking the connection

Managed to find time to test out the firewal/antivirus idea but having switched them off I still cannot use licence manager. Would I be able to get the licence(s) freed up to use on my new pc after the old laptop has been formatted and rebuilt for use elsewhere? Log in to reply |

Thanks again for your help. Now to find some more spare time...you wouldn't believe I was retired, seem busier now than before.
