Not sure whether to put this in sim issues or timetable issues but it seems to be a scenario issue...

Started the sim at midnight sim time, AB scenario.

When the possession between Polegate and Pevensey (WON 29 item 221) is taken the lines show as blocked, as does the AB instrument between Polegate and Hampden Park.

However, upon clearance of the block, the sim still shows the lines as blocked, and will not allow trains to run, despite being advised "line clear and safe to run on".

(The timetable also routes two trains through item 234 between Falmer and Brighton but they were easily fixed with a timetable edit. I note that the two TB signalled points where this possession is taken does not clear the Train Describer inputs on clearing their possession either...)

Hi Mark

Have just run the save, can I just clarify a couple of things.

1. Are you able to normalise the 3 position block instruments (I.e does clicking on the 'N' allow the block to return to normal? In my version of the sim this is able to be done.

2. By the sim not allowing trains to run, have you removed the isolations that the sim put on when the block was granted? The sim will not remove them for you (The only reason that the sim puts them on is in case the user does not know the limits of the block so this is done to aid you).

If you have removed the isolations do the trains not actually move once given up?

I thought I had put the need for the user to remove the isolations in to the manual, however my bad I did miss this out (They are in the Oxted manual which was written at the the same time)

Cheers

Paul

Evening Paul,

Yes I can put the block to 'Line Clear' between Polegate and Hampden Park, and likewise between Hampden Park & Pevensey & Westham.

Although I have tried to go through and clear the signal isolations, all the track sections remain isolated - in addition, section "TCCVAA3" remains occupied despite the PICOP declaring all lines clear for the passage of trains...

Having gone through and found all the track sections and cleared them all, I can now run trains (aside of the occupied track circuit after possession). Failures are on zero.

Cheers Paul.

There was a large group of track sections also isolated which I presume relate to the Lewes to Brighton section, all numbered sections.

Have found the issue, when the block is taken that track section at Pevensey is forced occupied, however when the possession is given up I missed that track, will be corrected in a new version.

In the meantime, it will clear with the f11 option.

Cheers
