A couple of months ago I decided to have a bash at the South Humberside sim and fired up the 15th October 2009 tt. I’ve had a little bit of trouble identifying some of the locations where trains are supposed to go, but have generally found them by either referring to the’ Immingham TIPLOC locations’, the Immingham Information Sheet’, by guesswork or previoust posts. However, I have now been completely stumped because I have train 6T00 waiting at S38 reverse destined for ‘Scunthorpe Trent TC’ and as far as I can make out there are only two possible routes. One is directly into ‘Trent Yard’ and the other is to signal S44 in ‘Trent Yard RCN’, but the I get a phone call to say that I have set an incorrect route when I try either of these. By the way, I also tried to set a route to shunt signal S42 but that wouldn’t set. It looks like I may have done something wrong but don’t know what. Scunthorpe Trent TC is Trent Yard according to manual in Wiki. There are some issues with the sim with routes in Scunthorpe area not validating, this may be one of them. Maybe needs talking past signal as workaround?

Thank you both for the solution. I have used this method once or twice in other sims. I expect that if there is an update at some point, this will be resolved.

Wouldn't count on it! and from making a TT perspective it's even more painfully, finding locations in the Loc list is a genuine sport XD
