Just realised this - we've been runnning Edinburgh and Motherwell chained as a multiplayer, but are having issues with the fringe at Midcalder Junction (Shotts) - nothing seems to be crossing from Edinburgh to Motherwell (down) - it disappears off Edinburgh, but never enters in Motherwell.

In the opposite direction, timetables refuse to step automatically after entering, unless manually stepped up.

Looking at the saved timetables html it appears they are "xxx August 2006 MP chain.WTT" which is not the latest versions of the timetable.
I can't recall the dates of the timetable iterations but there was a major change to the sim interface on Motherwell back in January 2018 (V4.3.0) which affected all previous timetables.

Might be the reason.

Ah, ok - I used the standard 2006 timetable that was installed with the sim (I installed it in 2020) and edited it to add some extras for the multiplayer game.

Do you know what changes there were so I can fix it manually?

If that's the case then maybe there is something amiss somewhere.

The bit that's bothering me is that "MP chain" in the timetable name as that's definitely not the current timetable name. Do you have a timetable simply "Motherwell August 2006.WTT" as well?
Motherwell August 2006.WTT should be the one that's downloaded with the Sim.

Could you upload a screenshot of the TT on both sides of one of the trains that failed to enter on Motherwell? Then we can see whether it's indeed a chain problem or a timetable that was not correctly updated.

I've just run a quick test and there does seem to be a problem which I should be able to fix this afternoon.

Peter,

It's a modified version of the normal 2006 timetable, with "extras" added for some additional fun during the multiplayer chain. It's really nothing more than the standard timetable with additional trains added, and some alterations to timetables - none at the fringe in question. I just save these "special" WTTs as separate files, so the original is kept safe.

Update - just noticed your latest post, fingers crossed it isn't anything too bad!

I altered Motherwell back in 2018 and it appears I did not make the necessary alterations to Edinburgh.
Seems OK so I'll send it in for release.
