Just for fun, but I think the royal mail should have a talk with their drivers. I've got one who took a toilet brake from 05:35 to 15:55! It must have been a thick newspaper that day?

There's an actual issue behind that, though, in that currently delays are only ever generated upon arrival, never upon departure or at some point in-between, regardless of how far in the future the departure is.
Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

I just had a pair of 156s, operated by Northern, hold up the Down Fast for 40 mins - because they had "the wrong kind of food trolley". Which they apparently discovered only at the penultimate stop on the journey.

"There's something wrong with our food trolley!"
"W-what? What is it?"
"We have one."

I think I've said this before: delay reasons are tongue-in-cheek and not to lose sleep over.

Maybe its time for a competition for some new and "interesting" delay reasons to be suggested, with the best ones added into the game? the same with user worked crossings.

What time is it due to leave? Must be some psychic powers at work.
