I'm playing the recently released, updated, May to September 1991 timetable. I am struggling to set the points for 5A16 travelling from Moorgate to Farringdon. They have been in the locked position (normal) for some reason and I have been unable to unlock them. So I then I hand crank them to reverse and they started flashing as though failed and I can’t set the route for 5A16. I’m probably missing something obvious but can’t see what. You've still got the slot granted from Blackfriars, which will lock the points for that direction as they're within the overlap of the signal 2J40 is standing at. Cancel the slot (right click) and the points will be free to move. The slot from Blackfriars is persistent, so it's not cancelled when a train passes, you have to cancel it manually. The points look like they've failed because the interlocking wants them in one position (towards Blackfriars in this case) but the crank has forced them to the opposite position. In the save you've given the slot to allow a train to approach from City Thameslink, this is holding the overlap in advance of 481 signal preventing you setting a conflicting route.

Ah ha. I can see that now. I remembered to cancel the slot after other trains but completely forgot that you have to do this. Then I failed to notice it. Thank you both for pointing it out.
