I'm not sure if you have got as far as looking at the f2 menu- have a look at this and the link to timetable options.

Please give feedback so's we can improve the page if necessary.

Peter

Sorry for some reason every page I look at has the same home-page URL so the above link is not immediatly helpful- enter f2 in the search box and go from there.

Hi John,

From what i have read I take it you are attempting to a late running train back at an earlier station. This indeed is done through the 'Train List'(F2) screen. I have described below how to turn a train back early.

For Example:

2J01 Hertford North - Moorgate.

Station. Arr. Dep.
Hertford North 08:00
Gordon Hill 08:05 08:06
Bowes Park 08:10 08:11
Alexandra Palace 08:14 08:15
Finsbury Park 08:20 08:21
Drayton Park 08:23 08:24
Highbury 08:26 08:27
Essex Road 08:29 08:30
Old Street 08:32 08:33
Moorgate 08:35 --:-- N:2K01.

So 2J01 makes 2K01 at moorgate but is running late and you want to turn it back at Drayton Park.

When 2J01 is stopped on the platform at Drayton Park you go to the Train List (F2), find train 2J01. Right click on the train, Chose Timetable options. Then out of the options chose 'Run to Another TT' and a box will pop up, Find train 2K01 from the drop down list on top. When 2K01 is selected it will then ask you for is next destination from a drop down list of all that trains destinations, here you chose Finsbury Park. And now you have changes 2J01 to 2K01, but there is still 1 more thing, the train will be facing the wrong direction, so you now go to the train list (F2) and find train 2K01, right click and select Signalling options, then reverse direction. the the turn around is complete and you interpose the new Headcode on to the train and send it on to its destiation.

I hope this a help to you John.

Alan.

John,

There is also this page on the wiki to guide you on using the 'Run to Another Timetable' option. http://www.SimSig.co.uk/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=usertrack:ssrun:func:f2:ttopts

That's the page I tried to link to but for some reason the URL at the top of my screen never changes when I surf the Wiki.

It seems to be working fine on my machine.

Its strange that the URL does not change. Does the page change to allow you browse the wiki?

Alan.
