Just a simple question and one I hope can be explained but with this signal being used to reverse locos using the mail terminal, why does the route for the shunt to position the loco behind this signal has to be routed to signal 332 if the loco timetable says not routed via Kensal Green Jcn?

I ask this because surely if a loco has to reverse behind signal 1201 than surely it's better and creates less conflict to just set the route from signals
764, 766, 768 or 770 to signal 672?

If signal 672 is not on auto, surely the driver if the timetable states to reverse behind signal 1201 is going to just just that and not think that they are going to Kensal Green Jcn?

This means no conflicting moves on the Up Slow and allows two movements to be done in the area, is this possible to be looked at by the SimSig team?

Mantis 37985 raised, they shouldn't be calling a wrong route for that.

Just a update that in a TT test, I've had a train timetabled to reverse at location Willesden Rev (Signal 1193/1195) that didn't acknowledge it as a location.

The train was behind signal 1193 and the timetable clearly stated it was to reverse there to go back to the RMT terminal however the driver for some reason rang in stating they were sat at signal 672.

I had to manually reverse the train to get the driver to acknowledge they were going back to the RMT terminal.

Can this be added to the ongoing Mantis report as it's clearly a bug if a reversing location is not being recognised as such in timetables.

Could you provide a save game demonstrating the issue? Or an extract of the timetable?

I can't see anything wrong with the location data for Willesden Rev(Sig 1193/1195).

There you go, hopefully you can see why I am saying it's a bug.

I can't find anything wrong with the original report, though as has been asked, we need more information anyway, but as the original report stands it's no fault found.

As for the second, unrelated issue, the train schedule shows as an error, hence why it's not reversing correctly. No fault found with the sim. TT author needs to correct the timetable (hint: needs Harlesden Jn).

So it's not possible to reverse at location Willesden Rev(Sig 1193/1195) than?

Because surely reversing at Harlesden Jn means reversing on the Up Slow?

Ajax

The timetable needs to be:

Willesden Railnet
Harlesden Jn
Willesden 1193 Rev
Harlesden Jn
Willesden Railnet

EDIT: Didn't notice the separate issue being raised. The original issue related to reversals at 1201 has been re-opened and a save demonstrating the issue provided.
