From Monday 24-07-2023 Headbolt Lane Station Terminus (CRS [HBL]/ TIPLOC [HBOLTN]) near Kirkby will be open to passenger use with Northern already confirming this with the timetables. Merseyrail timetables are unconfirmed as of this post. How likely will this simulation be updated to include the new terminus? Considering its only 1 mile away from Kirkby Station itself. If it is updated at all, it will probably be a new era addition. Many simulations aren't kept up-to-date with current layouts for various reasons, so don't expect anything any time soon.

All the signalling alterations would need source data which is not always as easy to come by as people think. You’d also have to consider any other changes that have taken place since the last simulated eras on the simulations in question and include them as well. A good example is the bays at Moor Street were regularly requested on this forum as an addition to the Saltley sim. In between the era simulated and eye bays being built a substantial number of lower profile changes were made to other areas in the area of control.
