Not sure why the ARS would do this but the ARS has automatically without user interpretation wrong routed 1Y02 which is booked to called at Long Buckby and Northampton after departing from Rugby.

I know the ARS is only there as a aid but surely if the train is timetabled to call at those locations that it shouldn't be setting a route via Weedon instead? As I think that UNL in the timetable refers to Up Northampton Line? It's not a local line so I'm not 100% sure but I believe it probably is.

I've attached the last 3 auto saves and the last manual save to show the issue.

The ARS has set the route from NR6000 to KR3356 after the passage of 4L02, for what reason, I haven't worked that out yet. I'll test around more when I have some more time, then I'll report back with a mantis ticket no doubt.

If you load your 0530 save you'll see 1Y02 isn't even in the area when the route is called. Two seconds after this save starts, 4L91 reports "routed off planned path" though it appears to be the correct route - and this is the train calling R6000B. Something may have happened to it before this happened but without an earlier save it's impossible to tell.

I only attached the 0530 save to give three saves as the 0545 and the manual save were only about 2 minutes apart so thought it might help the team troubleshoot why 1Y02 were routed via Weedon when the timetable clearly has Long Buckby and Northampton as stopping locations.

I have auto saves set at every 15 minutes so if you require the 0515 save, please say.

Thank you, I don't know why it happened hence querying it as I do have ARS on but where possible I do try to set the routes myself and I know that I didn't set the route incorrectly myself.

It's actually the first time I've ever seen ARS set a incorrect route on any simulation that has it, usually it's just setting a route earlier than you want depending on your skills as a signaller.

Never have I seen this behaviour.

troubleshoot why 1Y02 were routed via Weedon
As I said before, it was not routing 1Y02.

A save from before 4L91 entered would be handy.
