Hello,

Whilst waiting for the Doncaster Station Sim to be released, I decided to crack on with a 1999 Winter York Timetable. During some very early stages of testing I have come across a bit of an issue with Trains Entering on the Up Main from Darlington. Trains enter at the maximum speed that is permitted for the type of train and this results in trains arriving at Northallerton early. Looking at the Tyneside Sim I notice that after Darlington, Northallerton is the next timing location. So could a new entry location "Darlington Station Stop" or Mantis ticket be added as this simulate the correct acceleration characteristics to be followed and the train to arrive on time at Northallerton instead of sitting in the platform at for 10 or so minuets.

Regards,
Zero Delta Zero Seven.

I haven't got the Mantis number to hand, but there's a ticket already logged to look at entering speeds of trains generally against the core code.
"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

Possibly it was Mantis 8883 you remembered?

However regarding this specific issue, we've had Mantis 3428, which already got fixed in 2009 – but does require the sim to be coded with two differing entry points just as suggested.

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.
