Hi all,

Would anyone by chance happen to have a current (May 2023) GTR CWN or diagrams they could possibly pass me for an upcoming timetable please? Since the demise of UKModernEMU, diagrams are like gold dust these days.

Thanks.

As they are controlled documents, it may be an idea to put in a FOI request to the operator. It's no guaranteed, but it's a start.

There are umpteen official drivers diagrams for sale on e-bay covering the 2006 & 2007 period for FCC Thameslink drivers if your interested in that. But Hap is correct in what he says they would be controlled documents. Maybe in time some of those documents may find there way onto e-bay, but in several years to come.

FOI only applies to government run/controlled bodies. very useful when the operator of last resort operates the service like East coast or Northern, but GTR is a private company and not subject to it.

You could try requesting station working books via FOI which are covered as theyre produced by NR, however they often remove any diagram information as its considered sensitive info belonging to a private company.

As I said, it's a start, not a guarantee.

But to counter that, My employer has released, albeit redacted, versions of unit diagrams prior to becoming "publicly owned".

Otherwise for an individual to disclose a controlled document is solely on them.

Hi

Somebody who may be able to help you is Part time spotter who publishes a daily blog at partimespotter.wordpress.com. This contains daily workings and diagrams for certain classes eg GTR 387 and GTR 717. I believe he works for GTR so may have some access to the CWN's

I have no connection with PTS other than as a satisfied user of his blog but good luck on your quest. Like you I also miss the access to these given by UKModernEMU list.
