I'm playing the March 2022 timetable and have the problem mentioned above.

I don't think that I am going mad but it appears to me that ARS has correctly set the route according to the timetable but the driver calls to say that it's wrong.

I've attached the 06:40 save which leads up to the route being set.

I hope that I've got this right as I've made a few mistakes recently and if I'm wrong this time I shall be very embarrassed :/

I re-ran the save. It's not you - the TT has path ML-FL at Northallerton, so the ARS sees "FL" and sets the main route as soon as the train steps over signal 482.

You'd need to raise this with the author of the TT ([BW] York 25th March 2022) as it should be SL from Northallerton and over Longlands Jn if you want to reach Thirsk. Looks like a lot of the 1Pxx trains have the wrong line codes.

In the meantime you might want to run without ARS at Northallerton if possible!

Thanks
Jamie

Glad that it's not me. I've actually done what you've suggested and now route trains through Northallerton manually.

I've also had quite a few trains where I've routed them according to their timetable but they lose their ARS status. Is this normal behaviour?

I would suspect that if the line and pathing codes are correct within a TT, that the ARS will keep up just fine.

Apologies for this and the wait in updating it, I've submitted an update for approval which should fix the ARS wrong routing at Longlands Junction. When making the timetable I forgot it had ARS so I forgot to add 'SL' to the path on the timetable. Sorry

No need for an apology as you've fixed the issue anyway. Just waiting for the release of the update.

I just abandon the tt when a driver calls and reinstate it once the train moves off. Saves waiting for a couple of minutes for the set route to clear.

Personally it doesn't make much difference to me as I don't worry about the scoring any more. Just enjoy the sims
