As some may know this new station finally opened on 5th October 2023. With Kirkby station been the end of the line for trains to/from Wigan this has now moved 1 mile back to the new station Headbolt Lane Station. Timings to/from Rainford suggest its still using the old times to/from Kirkby. I reckon this new station could be added to the simulation by cutting the location by 1 mile, of course this would maybe mean a new complete era to reflect it as Rainford would still be needed for the default timetables etc. From my knowledge and sighting Knowsley Freight Terminal sidings end exactly where the buffers are on the new station.
