quick thing i noticed earlier. Trains booked for the WSL that are headed to the south (i.e. retford) will call a wrong route if you put them in 3A or 1 at Doncaster. Had a Grand Central call (1A70 i think it was) as i re-platformed. Not sure if this causes issues with other services that require similar (for example if you needed to put an ESL LNER on the WSL).

Not sure if it affects others but that's just one that caught my eye when running it

Complaining about the red you're sat at? Look for the freighter I just routed in front of you ^-^

One thing I noted from Saturday is that trains such as 0E16 if sent to reverse at D224, would traverse quite a way towards D219 before reversing and approaching close enough to get the call-on. Should the reverses be set with position near-end?

Thanks
Jamie

It's presumably booked that way for a reason - driver route knowledge retention perhaps. You could edit the timetable to remove Bridge and Decoy Junctions if you needed to re-route it.

2019 Midnight Start I have train 6B80 [H31734S] standing at Signal D218, he calls up asking to go, I checked the timetable it should held at St Catherines Jn for regulation but St Catherines Jn is behind the train, maybe the timetable should have St Catherines Jn Loop instead?

If any of you have got up to around 0400 and noticed 3Q59 2340 Heaton - Derby RTC (enters 0343 Temple Hirst) losing time en route to Doncaster, this is because the Train Category 'CLS (3) 37+3 Test Train (30mph) 79m' is incorrect. It should be 'CLS (3) 37+3 Test Train 79m' as this train (a Network Rail Ultrasonic Test Unit) transited from York Holgate Jn (max speed 75mph) and then picked up recording from Doncaster to Grantham at 30mph ( the train category change at Doncaster is correctly shown in the TT).

As an aside, this UTU working normally gets driver relief at Doncaster Stn, so while 3Q59's TT does show a 3 minute through-line stop on the Up Fast, it is normally requested to be routed into Pfm.3 for relief as it's the safer option than relieving on the fast line, and whenever I've worked this train (testing crew) this is what has taken place.

Phil I've spent hours going through the CIF I may have missed a few in the process and the 3Qs only show OP stops so its harder to get the crew changes

You'll rarely, if ever, see crew change points for test trains as they present themselves depending on which drivers are rostered to work them, and will be geared to their individual route knowledge, amongst other things. As for the timings, only working out the speed from the timings (for UTU's) will give a clue as to whether they're recording or transiting.

6B80 [H31734S]/6F80 [H31923S] under North Blyth GB 6B80 Decisions both trains as above seed in the wrong location and should be St Catherines Jn Loop?

Managed to get to 0500hrs with a couple of incorrect route errors by myself... I changed 3Q59 before it entered to save that having a slow slog into Donny.

Something I just noticed at 09:48 with the timetable of 4R79, which is in Down Decoy Siding No.4.
It's booked to Bridge Jn. and Doncaster DG, but at Decoy North Jn. it says "Line DFL" which I take to mean the Down Fast Line.
It should be DS1 (DS2 is occupied at signal D249) because neither Bridge Jn. nor the DG can be accessed from the DFL.

You can give me a ticking off if I'm wrong :)

Oddly enough, I reported a similar issue with this train on 28th November in post #154509 (put in the FAQ section), but the timetable was different then. It must have been altered in an update; can’t see how else.

Currently playing the TT referred to in thread title and have noticed a little oddity at 23:00hrs.

4E50 was due into 2WG#1 but this loop is shown as being 420m in length whereas the train is 432m in length. I therefore held this train at D273 on the WS1 in order to allow a couple of other services to cross from Doncaster station to the Sheffield Main. When I finally allowed 4E50 to proceed it fitted into the 2WG#1 despite being longer than the loop !!
