Hi, I am wanting to replicate what you’d hear at a real signallers workstation with the available GSMR sounds in the downloads section. That said, I’ve no idea what audio cues a real signaller gets! Can anyone enlighten me? This is an idea I’ve thought of… When train is first waiting at signal and wants to make you aware, I get a GSMR “Standing at signal” beep. Then, after that, if the driver has to ring me again, I get the GSMR phone ringing sound. I’ve tried to assign it myself but the GSMR phone ringing seems to happen every time rather than the signal beep which I want first. Sometimes there is no sound at all. I've heard a rumour that there is a project about to kick off to replace the terminals with a more up to date version but I don't know any more than that. Additionally, there's the event 'Train waiting at red signal'. If the 'Disable' checkbox is ticked, you have to untick it. I think it’ll be a long time before we see FRMCS commissioned in the UK but in the short term the current ‘DICORA S’ terminals are heading for the bin shortly to be replaced by a modern equivalent as they’re obsolete and spares are very difficult to get hold of (as with everything digital on the railway, see also IECC classic workstations…)
