I know SimSig is based off the UK's signalling system, but I would love to see something like a Toronto Transit Commission subway or GO Transit commuter rail line be created as a simulation. The Chicago L is a simulation, so it wouldn't be entirely a-thematic.

Very short blocks there. Even a relatively small section of the network would take up a lot of space on screen. Not to mention the way some of those timers work, flashing the top red before stepping up. Very interesting to learn about, but properly replicating all functions of that system would be a challenging assignment, to say the least.

Looks to be a route-based system so it's got that going for it at least.

Have often wondered if anyone will take on another North American project.
