Just curious as on the 14th May 2022, it was faulted on Mantis as 36122 but if you click on Documentation than Mantis Issue Tracking which is open to everyone, there is no mention of it. Any idea if this issue has been resolved or not as in the May 2022 timetable, so far every train that calls at Littlehaven in the UP direction seems to generate a crossing failure for Parsonage Road. I've not included a save because it was first reported in 2015 and the last update was from one of the SimSig team who reported it on Mantis. Hopefully Geoff can bring this to the developer's attention too please? Log in to reply |

The specific issues in that bug are indeed no longer present. Just tested for them. You may be describing a different issue, which happens now and again when there are AHB in long track circuits with stations or slow trains. The crossing goes to 'fail' if the TC remains occupied for too long, as a precaution against trains running back. The real thing may have some changes that are not apparent in the sim or when designing the sim. The 2022 timetable has 4 minutes Horsham Dep - Littlehaven Dep, and generates the fail as you state, while the 2009 has 3 minutes and does not fail the AHB due to different standing times at Littlehaven. testers - see discussion under #24433. Stephen Fulcher in post 158617 said:It’s shown in Mantis as unable to reproduceThat's wrong than as I've managed to recreate it numerous times with different consists departing from Horsham towards Three Bridges using both Class 377 x 2 and a Class 700/0. Every time, when trains stop on the Up at Littlehaven it always says that the level crossing in question has failed so it's impossible to show it as unable to reproduce when it's easily recreated every time. In the saves below, you can see that 1C90 arrives at Littlehaven at 06:52:32 and I get a level crossing failure notification at 06:53:34 and that's just one example, note that the Thameslink following it arrives at Littlehaven on time and without fail brings up the crossing failure so there is a issue there. Can this bug report be reopened on Mantis as it's hasn't been fixed. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

It should be noted that what is logged on Mantis and what you have described today are markedly different issues, so far from being "impossible" it is understandable why it was not reproducable. It’s shown in Mantis as unable to reproduceThat's wrong than as I've managed to recreate it numerous times with different consists departing from Horsham towards Three Bridges using both Class 377 x 2 and a Class 700/0. I believe I can see why it is happening though, so have logged a fresh ticket Mantis 41397 Log in to reply |

As a test to show you this is not the closed bug, hold the train at Horsham to 2 min late and send it on its' way. That will shorten the TC occupation after passing the crossing and you won't get the alarm.
