Essential requirements: a) close to main railway station, with direct/easy access from as many areas as possible; b) venue with function room (or reserved area) for 40+, with tables and power sockets for 20+ laptops, preferably at notional cost; c) real ale and food or buffet available. Also desirable: d) reasonably priced accommodation easily reached from venue; e) curry house or other for evening meal. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day.
