Hello to all from Germany,

I'm not a native speaker but I try to write down here what I found.
But at first a big thank you to the developer from this new releasement from West Yorkshire, it is great for me and I like very much!

Now to the point and I have here a bmp screenshot. I hope this is to see here, it is very big size from simulation. There you can see a green signal and the Crofton gate is open! How is this possible? If a train have leave the sector from gate (was closed all standard), the gate opens after a time automatically. This time is maybe ca. 3 minutes long (the button is continue white until it ends). In this time I give a other route, for example the track above free over the gate. This is everytime accepted, the signal is then green (because the gate button is white). But later the gate is open, maybe it was in the opening process, while I give the new route free. The signal box make nothing against this situation and I think this is a big mistanke? I can make this situation now again and again, it was not only one time.

From my side a question, what is this for a gate and why is the closing process so long?

Thank you and I hope this is a new information for you and not was known.

Best regards from Berlin

Boris

Have you told him to open the gates then set a route afterwards? I think someone reported this already on another thread.

As to why it takes so long, the crossing keeper also controls another local crossing and has to walk between the two as and when required so he doesn't always immediately close and reopen them.

No I did nothing, all is automatic.

Thank you for information.

Yes I reported it. I had not told the gate keeper to open the gates either IIRC.
