Having worked through this timetable a couple of times, some minor bugs came to light:

1. 6M22/H73374 appears to have received the wrong train description/characteristics. (They match those of 6M22/H73375 HNTRDRS-KGMRDRS). This also appears to have happened on the Leeds E/W version of this TT series.

2. 6E72/H74171 (SBYDAS-IMNGSS) and 6E84/H33876 (MDTT-MNKBRRF) both appear to have been accidentally included in 'are alternatives' rules with Coal trains running the same head code.

3. 4N01/H71726 and 4N88/H71762 look like alternative origins for the same train to Wilton Flt.

4. 0S77's location for detaching 0N06 should be Sudforth Lane (East Rev) 15:11-15:21, rather than Sudforth Lane (West Rev), with 0N06's departure location needing to be East Rev as well.

5. When the 4S70 choice is made for decision 4A21, no light engine appears (from Knottingley TMD?) in time for departure of 4S70. 0S64 (for 4S64) appears no matter what choice is made.

Thanks for an otherwise excellent TT and Sim.

2W83(G60645) enters with the wrong stock. Should be 2/142 as it starts out as 2/142+2/144 leaving Leeds but detaches the 2/144 at Huddersfield to form 2J48(G58945). Leeds Ardsley also has this issue.

When chained to York, it appears the Hull Trains empty stock movements to/from Crofton Depot are not in this TT.

They are in the York TT as 5A92/5H06.

0A06 is routed straight into the TMD from Knottingley West Junction. This leads to a 'did not have permission' message (see this thread). Should it be timetabled to reverse at the east end of the TMD instead?

Timetable is correct, the error is a sim bug.

Timetable is correct, the error is a sim bug if anything. Historically trains normally entered from the England lane end, but by 2009 its a non issue given how quiet the depot is/was.

Some more issues: trains calling at Knottingley WRD don't re-enter (6H03 for instance) and 6H16 steps up too far as it passes Milford Jn: to the next Milford Jn in its TT, and then skips the stop at the yard. The latter might need to be split.

Many 2W trains have puzzling destinations or origins in their timetable, such as Leeds as destination for trains going to Mirfield East Jn or Selby as origin for trains coming from there; is this correct for 2009?

I checked a couple of trains out of curiosity and yes, they are correct.

This is a Google road map for 2W73/G60605 - granted, yes it does go around the houses!

The trains essentially join up the Huddersfield- Wakefield service and the Huddersfield- Leeds via Halifax & Bradford route, the workings to Wakefield also being combined with the Selby- Leeds stopper.

At some point (I don't think it was long after 2009) the service was split and Huddersfield- Wakefield became a standalone shuttle, generally worked by 153s.

Thanks for the route, that's now clear to me. What initially caught my eye was that the even trains go to Leeds but the odd trains come from Selby, but presumably the Leeds to Selby eastbound leg is run under a different headcode then.

If I remember rightly, there used to be a Manchester Victoria- Selby service (via the Calder Valley) as well at that time, so it was quite a complex circuit the units worked. Again, I believe that service changed into a Vic- Leeds later (and pre-May 2018).

4A30 has an incorrect stopping position - the joining loco doesn't fit onto the train at the south end of Milford Sidings.

And a number of other trains, including 4R30, 6D02 and 6S76 want to depart from Milford West Sidings hours early, after their run-round loco has joined. Presumably in real life the staff isn't going to stay on the loco for a couple of hours after running around, so the train would either need wait for scheduled time ticked or have a crew change?
