Hi, was just getting started in SimSig a while back but then changed from a PC to iMac. Lockdown was getting boring so I started looking at how to run SimSig again. I did have an old PC box. I am running Microsoft Remote on the Mac can control the old PC (and thus SimSig) from the Mac. Looking forward to gaining the experience to move through the more complex Routes.

Follow the links above 'Documentation' then 'User manuals and wiki' and then 'General information' Most relevant will be: Installation https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:install Try out with a free/donation sim first. Be aware that the purchase model here is a little different to most software. There are plenty of areas to try out before you need to pay. Hello, I'm not really new, been playing for at least 15 years (the first saved files I can find are for Stafford in 2005) but just never posted anything on the forum. I'm a lifelong railway enthusiast and have been interested in signalling, operations and timetabling since I was a teenager in the 1970s. On SimSig I tend to stick to areas I know in reality, started with Stafford then Exeter then Gloucester, I still have the exe version of Gloucester and still enjoy that from time to time. Dabbled with one of the older Kings Cross versions but these days is Saltley and, most of the time, New Street. Phil Log in to reply |

Have you read the Wiki General Information and the Wolverhampton simulation Manual. You can find a lot of useful information in these. You can find them here: https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Log in to reply |
