Just a couple which may be user error so don’t be afraid to put me back in the hutch. 1. While sorting out my TCF at Swindon I somehow managed to end up with 7B13 almost at Didcot. I can’t recall a call from the driver querying the route. Now doing a very illegal turning move on the triangle at Didcot to try and send it back again. 2. At Thingley Jn ARS will route a train for the Melksham line beyond Thingley East Jn before you get the slot. This could result in a standoffif there’s a train already coming up the single line. Surely ARS should hold any train for Melksham back at Thingley East ie east of the crossovers until the slot is obtained? Vern Log in to reply |

Hi, it would be useful if you could include some more information about a timetable: such as, which year's timetable are you running and what was the intended destination of the wrongly routed train. Then we can answer your questions without having to load the sim just to read a timetable. The sim's developer has to code for every junction which routes need to be queried. In the older sims, some of those may be missing (neighbouring Westbury is also missing a couple of wrong route calls for freight routes.) If you know at which junction or signal your train failed to query a wrong route, it would make it easier for the developers to look it up. AJP in games Log in to reply |

As regards the first point Albert I am running the default scenario that comes with the territory. 7B13 is a stone train which comes off the Melksham line and comes up to Swindon to run round before returning west to Wootton Bassett as the stone terminal is accessed from the Down Main only. I will have to get back re the second point as not at my PC, posting from my IPad! Vern Log in to reply |

On which line was the train supposed to run around - the Down Goods? In that case I think it failed to query the route when leaving Swindon station. Could you provide a screenshot of the timetable that you see when clicking the train, so we can see what its next location is?
