Very very bizarre feeling coming into the UP platform at PIT. Caught me off guard (Pun intended), I was standing waiting for the DN Platform to make an appearance that wasn't 8 feet away!

I rather like this - especially the tiled interface panels!

So the route is still single-track between Berryden Jn and Kittybrewster Jn?

(named for the one in Tasmania, not in Russia)

No, the single track starts at Aberdeen station to go through the tunnels. Looking closely it appears Berryden Jn is the northern end of the single line and Kittybrewster Jn is just providing access to a siding just like it does on the NEscot sim.

Glad to see the equipment we spent a few rather cold, wet and windy days installing into Aviemore South GF works Still have a photo (the header photo at signallingstrathspey.blogspot.com) taken of the entire crew during one of the rare moment when it wasn't snowing...!

There were blog posts put up by the Strathspey PWay at the same time detailing the prep work we on the heritage railway had to do to interface with the new signalling arrangements at Aviemore... https://tinyurl.com/SnT9March & https://tinyurl.com/SnT16March

There's also a set of photos taken during the works... https://tinyurl.com/SnT23March
I remember spending most of the afternoon zipping back and forth between the north end of Aviemore platform 3 and the Spey Lodge, moving redundant equipment out of harm's way...! In fact, the old panel from Aviemore signalbox is still in existance, and there are some informal plans to bring it back into public view (don't quote me on that though!)
