Quick update on my Three Bridges timetable.

I was worrying earlier in the week that I might not get around to finishing what has been my biggest TT project since I started trying to write them. However the lack of work today (Friday 20th November) has given me the chance to get more done so all I have left to write in are the trains from Sutton to Streatham Hill and the Thameslink services between Brighton and London Bridge.

At the time of writing this timetable - which is a Sunday one (22nd November) based around engineering works taking place both on and off sim - I have 1107 trains in the TT: my previous biggest TT project - an Exeter sim one - had about 425 trains! Once complete the release and testing will not be too immediate as I will have to iron out any errors, do a bit more work on making sure as many trains as possible have the correct traction allocated (most of the trains written in so far do have that, thanks to a member of the SimSig community). Once all that is done then testing and, if all goes well, release of the TT will follow. I will, however, have to find some way of making the instructions, particularly re. engineering blocks, publicly available to hosts in the future and may establish a website for this.

Write them into the Timetable Description on the front tab of the TT?

Indeed I did consider that. It would be rather a lot of reading for the TT description box though as the times and extent of the T3 block vary during the course of the timetable. For example the Quarry Line is open during the main part of the day but is closed early on and late on in the TT.

A bit of a throwback method, but you could run trains into the possession and stop for the duration.

If you have a key location in there, you can also use ACI to change the TD from '6K01' to '00T3' (or similar) and back.

A fair number of possessions will have trains in anyway, but I assume yours do not or you would have found them on the RTT/OTT/Charnwood feeds

For my next timetable, I'll have a go at Manchester North 16th November 2020 which should include new TPE and Northern stock with new services as well as services using the Ordsall Chord

It's been mentioned that an update is in the works, but hasn't been released yet.

Mine does have a train or two in the possession but I am unsure as to the ID of it / them and won't know that until the day itself when I look on the OTT live maps - there is a Freight (FRGT) starting from Stoats Nest according to RTT which, for the greater part of the TT and the day, is one end of the engineering block. I will likely mark the train in but forbid it from leaving until the set time although, saying that, I will have to find a way of learning what the train is comprised of.

Just resubmitted my Feltham 2020 timetable with engineering works hopefully this time it passes resubmission.
Currently working on a 2021 timetable for Wimbledon Simsig. SWR services all entered in now so the back bone of the work is done. Just need to do Southern, London Overground and If I can find them the tube train workings too.

Hi all.

I've been for a while creating a 2013-14 timetable for Kings Cross. This will have a day of the week decisions but will be based on the wtt, not on what actually ran.

It's got no date for upload, as I need to give it another run through, but will update when it's ready.

Also been playing around with some of the bordering sims so maybe some others of the same date at some point, but they will be ready, when there ready.

I am about halfway through a new Hereford timetable, a February day last year before the Covid cutbacks, but after storms closed part of the HoW line so they terminate at either Llanwrtyd or Llandrindod instead of going through.
Certainly not a massive number of trains but it's an area where there's always something to do, covering a large area as it does, with some crossings and several loops/sidings.
Two things prevent me being able to use the same day/timetable for neighbouring areas: one is that the archive I am using only stores up to a year, the other is that freight headcodes are a headache (obfuscated or not shown), and I had to ask for some very kind help to even get the few for this one.

I have an Edinburgh 84 being tested now, chaining though is to CSCOT & Motherwell not southwards. As a 3-way chain it is a long job testing it.

I've started a Tyneside 1987/88 timetable. But at present working on a Birmingham New Street summer 1990 TT which will be part of a West Midlands set of TTs for Aston, Coventry, Saltley & Wolverhampton & should all chain. I will be doing more work on the Tyneside 87-88 TT when I get fed up working on New Street.

Love all your timetables, if you need any more testers for these I would happily volunteer my time.

I have done a Manchester East 27 February 2020 timetable which links onto the Piccadilly TT already written. Standalone testing under way. I'm at 11am so far, so it shouldnt be long for a MP test.

Let me know if you need any help with that, either standalone testing or as a multi

I have a Tyneside timetable for 2018 but there are several issues on it which have been reported on Mantis but as yet not resolved.
I do have workarounds to them and notes on each train's timetable affected but I prefer to wait until they are put right as they do effect the efficient running of the TT.

Starting creation of an Easter Monday 2021 for Piccadilly. Still with COVID reduced timings, and some services missing due to engineering work - but also with additional freight and diversionary moves through Castlefield to keep signallers busy, and strengthened XC/TP services to ensure platforming fun and games.
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Currently under test are Sheffield and Huddersfield timetables based on 'Spring 2021' and i'm currently working on a compatible Manchester East offering. I may then radiate further with chainable timetables.
