Bi-direction arrows remain lit after after a route is cancelled; these seem to prevent bi-directional working in the "wrong" direction.

You need to manually change the direction of each line per the manual.

Bi Directional Working
Manchester South Signallers need to change the direction of travel before they can take advantage of the bi-directional working. This has been simulated by requiring the user to cancel any routes in the current direction of travel before clicking on the relevant direction-of-flow arrow to select the opposing direction.

You are not required to carry out the above procedure to cross an Up train into the Down platform at Alderley Edge, or into Platform 3 at Wilmslow.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

Thanks. For some reason I didn't remember this was the procedure but it's a while since I needed to use it.
