Welcome back to NSW, Australia! This sim covers Sydney's 'Main North' line from Hawkesbury River all the way to Islington Junction and the city of Newcastle. This is a slow-paced regional sim, covering a lot of territory, where your regulation decisions are key. Turning a heavy coal train out in front of an express will have you potentially living with your decision for hours! Two eras are provided, with a timetable for each: a ‘modern’ era based on the corridor as it was in 2018, and a slightly older 2008-2012 era boasting the classic original Newcastle station. Central Coast can chain to Sydney North for a large multiplayer game. Trains will 'hand over' between sims at Woy Woy tunnel. Alongside this new release there are also some updates. Simulations Strathfield Sydney North Penrith & St Marys Timetables Strathfield 2011-10-23 Sydney North 2011-10-23 Sydney North 2017-11-01 Loader The loader has been updated to 5.25. A full version history is available on the Wiki, but a notable new feature allowing timetable decisions to propagate over chained simulations has been introduced, while no timetables currently support the feature, work is ongoing in the background and will be especially useful for some upcoming simulations! Delayed trains losing their state on save, and single track routes not behaving themselves in all circumstances have been addressed. There’s a “new view” option in the hamburger menu which allows you to open up multiple screens which you can move and resize as much as you want.
