im having issues with 0V26 joining 5M36 and 0E04 joining same stock (from different ends of P1 at Derby. It keeps saying 5M36 in front and won't join trains. How do i solve this issue?

Can't say I had this issue the other day when I loaded up a Thursday & ran it for a bit. All those activities work OK. The loco that goes on the front of 5M36 after reversing at London Road is the loco off 1M59 which becomes 0V26 after detaching from its train. 0T11 comes out of the north end spur & Joins on the rear of 1M59 in P6. 0E04 comes off No.4 Shed & reverses at the north end of Derby station goes onto the vans in P1 usually before 0V26 departs from P6 to P1. Once 0E04 has joined to 5M36 it then detaches & reverses at the north end of Derby station to join onto the front if 1E04. Once that has happened T.11 pilot with its vans off the rear of 1M59 in P6 shunts across to P1 & Joins 5M36 & by that time 0V26 has joined at the London end of p to form 1V26. T.11 pilot detaches of the rear of 5M36 & goes back into the North end dock. When 1E04 arrives at Derby the loco detaches & runs LD to No.4 Shed & 5E04[which is loco 0E04 ex No.4 Shed & vans it Joined to in P1] that Joins 1E04 in P4 to form 1E04 forward from Derby northbound to Sheffield. Yes it gets a bit hectic during that first ½hour, but I've done it several times & it all works as it should. An easy mistake to make is sending 0T11 from the North end dock straight onto 5M36 before it goes onto the rear of 1M59 in P6. It's best to take your time with this as one wrong move will stop it all working as it should.

2684 posts 		Further to the above post I've just run a Tuesday from 00.00 to 00.50 & everything worked as it should regarding the activities on 5M36 which forms part of 1V26. SO can't really understand what did wrong to get the join not to work. As a suggestion Jimmy could you load the sim up as a multiplayer game & I'll join your game & talk you through the movements dealing with 5M36, or I could host it & you join & I'll let you deal with the station & north panel & I'll look after the West Panel & Coalville & once we've reached say 00.50 we can stop & I'll send you the 00.50 snapshot where you can continue the game on your own. PM me so we can arrange a time when we can do this if you wish?

I restarted the sim and made sure that I did everything as per the reply to my post by 58050. It worked fine that time! I must have done something wrong when I ran it before.

OK good to know, no need for a run through with me. Noone had reported this issue before that's why I was certain you probably might have put 0T11 straight onto 5M36 instead of sending it to P6 to join onto the rear of 1M59 first. Anyway glad you managed to get past that stage in the TT.
