Hi, I wish to do a fictional TT for Southampton based with the stock and stations as of 1965, but Northam railway station isnt on Southampton. Shall I just make trains that stop at northam stop at northam jn? As well as this southampton airport parkway closes and reopens on 1 april 1966 but im not sure when it closed.

Josh

Where was the station in relation to the junction? Also, trains booked to stop at Northam Junction will stop in different locations depending on the direction- I suspect Down trains will stop at signals 711/713, Up trains at 714/716 depending which line they are on.

From Google maps, via Wikipedia, it seems to me that the station was on what is displayed on the sim as the line to Eastern Docks.
Southampton Terminus station is not the same as Southampton Central - it was located just before the last signal on the Eastern Docks track on sim, I think. I don't know how busy it is, but trains stopping at Northam on what is single line on sim and blocking the line to Terminus might render the timetable unworkable.

I dont know where it is but trains go to southampton terminus (eastern docks,) and there were plans to reopen it but SWT said northam jn was busy enough, so I presume 708 for up trains and 711/713 for the down at northam jn, but 708 is on the fast.

OK, thanks guidomcc might as well have trains not calling at northam but on wikipedia it says for southampton airport parkway this as its history;

30 October 1929 Station opens as Atlantic Park Hostel Halt
Unknown Station closes
1 April 1966 Station reopens as Southampton Airport
29 September 1986 Station renamed Southampton Parkway for Southampton (Eastleigh) Airport
29 May 1994 Station renamed Southampton Airport Parkway
