I've just downloaded the CScot 1984 timetable, and despite reading through the accompanying notes I'm still unsure of what to do with seeded trains 2P04, 2P06, 2P14, 5N25 and 5N33 at Stirling. They all show a passing time of either 00:00 or 00/01 at Plean then arrival at Stirling one minute later, but all are already at Stirling when the sim starts. Manually reversing 2P04 has it proceed towards the buffer stop in Pfm.9 where it reverses and then shows in the train list as awaiting its correct 0709 departure time but 2P06 and 2P14, when reversed, just come to a stand and show 'Waiting at buffer stop'. 5N25 and 5N33 call up waiting for the signal but I can't figure out what to do with them. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Phil.

I've also noticed that 1L31 which seeds at Stirling still shows at Plean in the F2 window when it is actually at Dunblane.

I'm not sure if it's what the sim was expecting me to do, but I edited the current/next location to Stirling for each of the overnight stabling trains and then reversed them. On coming to a stand they all picked up waiting their booked morning departure times, so problem solved.

There was a bug in the original (non-.exe) version of CScot whereby seeded trains 'looked' at the second location in their TTs, rather than the first, hence all the dummy first locations inserted. This bug has been fixed, but it looks like this timetable hasn't been updated yet. If you want to modify it yourself, open the timetable editor, and delete the first location in the timetable of every train that seeds. Then save the timetable (in the clock window, Timetable-> Save as) and it will work correctly next time you start a new simulation with that timetable.

Ok Steamer, I'll do that. Thanks for the tip.

Confirm that the seeding is a work around from the first main release and is indeed no longer needed.

A timetable update is not far away, but needs a bit more work than just this at the Glasgow end. In addition various bits of real life getting in the way.

Also note the posting "Anniesland". The Central Scotland Sim is not updating to 4.1.1. the latest version. This is causing issues with trains reversing and ACI issues.

Updated 1984 and 1993 timetables now available, fixed the seeding workaround and also (1993) seeding at Queen St.
For 1993, trains need to be run in as seeding in platforms causes problems.

Testing though was on sim data 4.0 build 11 - the most recent that seems to be about.
