Hello NR_Signaller,
Welcome to the community and joining the Forum. Bit of a busman's holiday for a signaller? What region are you working in?

Simon

nice little box that, used to be a guard back in the days of silverlink county, so ive spent many an hour down there. although in the summer the amount of 20 mph tsr's you used to get down there, was quiet alot.

just a quick question if i may, is the brick works staff crossing still in use (between the old box at forders and stewartby station), that always used to be up till you came to a stand in the down platform.

only about 4 short TSRs left now, mostly all linespeed, the dizzy heights of 60mph!

yes Brickworks cctv crossing is still there though the brickworks has shut down so dont really get any road traffic down there but yes the barriers still come down when the train is in stewartby station! although we can select 'non stopping' mode for through trains which brings down the barriers much earlier.

Forders sidings has pretty much all gone now so dont really get any freight traffic either!
