Hello, When a route is set from D300 (Up Main) to D284 (Platform 4) via E, the route is set to the full overlap. It doesn't appear possible to set that route via E to the restricted overlap (that only seems available from the Leeds route). When the same route is set, but this time via F, the route only locks the short overlap. Similarly, when the route is set from D308 (Up from Thorne) via E using the same pointwork as above, the route is also only locked to the short overlap. It seems unusual for the difference in overlaps selected given all three routes above are limited to 25mph across 2457pts. And if D300 - D284 does require the full overlap, you would expect the option of using the restricted overlap button. I thought it was worth querying whether this was an idiosyncrasy of the real interlocking, or whether D300 - D284 via E should use the short overlap in the sim. I'd be grateful if anyone who knows could shed light on this issue. Thank you, Chris Log in to reply |
